In this performative project I explore the issue of constructed identitity and look at vernacular photography in the twenty-first century. In these eighteen self-portraits, I am taking on identities of five made-up personas, whose pictures, one may find on different dating profiles. The aim of the work is to show how malleable we can be, especially in the digital era, and how women are portrayed online. The photographs were taken using different mediums; to include: webcam, point & shoot camera and a DSLR - all reletive to the dating site it was intended for (some of them being more exclusive and upmarket.)
